Work Related Injuries
These types of injuries have rules or laws that need to be followed Pennsylvania's Act 44, which went into law in 1993.
- Your employer must display a "panel of physicians" at work that is clearly visible to you.
- This panel of physicians are the only physicians you can see for the first 90 days after your injury with no exceptions. If your physician is not on the list, then you have to pick someone else that is.
- After the initial 90 days expires and you are still having symptoms, you are allowed to treat with any physician of your choice.
